In 2009 in the 3D software market a message has appeared, that Autodesk company, making 3DS Max, is going to buy the competitor - Alias Wavefront, making Maya to close it. All studios of animation working in Maya, began to look for ways to 3DS Max.

Also the 3D department of "Melnitsa" studio, having started to make the TV serial "Berboskin's" about dogs family, took an attempt to enable the characters to jump between Мaya and 3DS Max.

"Melnitsa" has given the mesh of this character made in Maya to Victor 3D for the texturing in 3DS Max as the next task. However Gena has come broken in 3DS Max, and it was easier to not correct there him, but to make again. Victor 3D has executed it for 6 days. Gena from 3DS Max has been handed over into "Melnitsa" for returning to Maya world of "Barboskin's".

Soon the 3D department of "Melnitsa" has answered: the "Barboskin's" series will be made only in Maya and will not rise up to realness level of this character.

In a result the "Barboskin's" family showed the simplified puppies of different breeds (why - a question to their mum). Only Gena with his intelligence goes out of the commercial templates of "Melnitsa". Probably, single stay in other 3D-space has given him something more.
